Easy Hummus Recipe

Easy Hummus Recipe Under 15 Minutes!

Ingredients: 

1) 1.5 cups cooked chickpeas                                         
2) 1/4th cup lemon juice 
3) 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 
4) 2 medium garlic cloves, finely chopped                                 
5) 1/2 cup tahina 
6) 1/2 teaspoon cumin 
7) 2 tablespoons olive oil 
8) 3 tablespoons cold aquafaba 
9) Black pepper as per taste
10) Salt to taste 

Note:  If you don't have store bought tahina, just blend sesame seed with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and you're good to go! 
Aquafaba is the remaining water of the boiled chickpeas. 

Directions: 

1) In a food processor, blend the garlic, lemon juice, and salt. Add tahina to the mixture till it's thick.

2) While running the food processor, add the chilled aquafaba to the mixture. If the mixture seems too thick, add another tablespoon of aquafaba.

3) Add cumin and chickpeas to the processor, and while blending gradually add the olive oil.

4) Add salt and black pepper to the mixture. You can add a little more lemon juice, as per your taste.

5) Take out the hummus into a bowl, and create a swoosh on the top, adding a little olive oil to it. Top it with your choice of toppings!
